we collect your PDF417 code from your ID! that's pretty much it, now, you may ask, what is in that code? well its actually your whole id (minus the photo)

WHY ARE YOU COLLECTING MY WHOLE ID?

we are going to check that it matches up with normal standards, don't worry, this is done on device and never sent to our servers!

CAN I KNOW IN SPECIFIC WHAT THE PDF417 CODE CONTAINS?

sure! it contains: your name, address, organ donor status, sex, eye color, height, weight, id number, date of birth, some numbers i have no idea what they're used for, and the expiry date

THAT IS A LOT OF INFORMATION, WHY SHOULD I TRUST YOU?

truth is, you shouldn't! sharing all this information is normally pretty dumb, however, we try to verify all of the info we need on device, this prevents us from having to store any of it, we think the best encryption is not having it stored.
